Billerbeck version 1.5 backward incompatible

A powerful soloistic Tuba has been added to the Billerbeck virtual organ. The Tuba has three pitch ranges 16', 8', and 4', and it can be coupled to any manual or pedal. In pedal, it also has a 2' pitch in addition to the three mentioned.

The new version (published in December 2023) has the number 1.5. Unfortunately, it is not compatible with the older Billerbeck versions! Therefore, we recommend uninstalling the old Billerbeck version completely, including all the saved combinations and settings, and then installing the new version. If you choose not to uninstall, be prepared to wait for a very long time (perhaps also 10 minutes) when loading the new instrument for the first time, because Hauptwerk needs to sort out all the changes in the settings. Unfortunately, the combinations saved with an earlier version of Billerbeck will not work with the new version 1.5 !

Stored Combinations Incompatibility

To be more specific on this issue, the combinations saved with an earlier version of Billerbeck will work in general, but I had to move several IDs of stops in the ODF to accomodate for the new Tuba stops, and therefore, some stops in your old combinations will now drag a Tuba stop instead! This is the list of the changed IDs:

Stop ID
Old stop mapping New stop mapping
71 Aequallage Tuba 4'
88 Coupler IV - I Ped. Tuba 2'
99 -unused- Aequallage
114 -unused- Coupler IV - I

...

So, if my understanding is correct, if you saved, for example, the stop "Aequallage" in your combination in an earlier version of the Billerbeck sample set, the combination will now draw the stop Tuba 4' instead in the version 1.5.
