Privacy Policy and Personal Data Processing

The GDPR regulation of EU requires stating which personal data are processed and stored in the system.
When you setup your account and when you make an order through the e-shop, these personal data are stored: name, surname, billing address, optionally shipping address, e-mail address, optionally phone number. Your password is stored in the database using a strong encryption required by the GDPR. Your account also contains the data of all your past orders, including licences for the purchased items, orders, invoices.

Sonus Paradisi takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect user personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction; maintain data accuracy; and help ensure the appropriate use of user personal information. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.

The same GDPR regulation requires stating why the data are stored: it is for two reasons.
The first reason is the law requirement concerning the fiscal issues: I have to store the required and above mentioned customer personal data for 10 years after the order was made to fulfill the accounting laws.

The second reason is to allow you to access your past orders any time and to download the purchased products any time in future. Also, user discounts are calculated based on your past purchases. If your account history is deleted, you cannot benefit from these discounts. Storing your personal data is done for your rightful interest and is done for your benefit.

Are your personal data handed over to third parties?
The personal data from your account are not disclosed or transmitted to any third party, with the exception of our accountant who is given all the invoices to store them, calculate taxes and perform other similar tasks required by fiscal laws.
